Desiree Tucker

Treasurer and Pet Promoter

Desiree Tucker is the treasurer and pet promoter for Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary. With a background in both veterinary medicine and banking, she brings a well-rounded blend of hands-on animal care experience, compassion, and strong organizational skill to Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary.

Each chapter of her career has strengthened her ability to support not only the animals in care, but also the people working tirelessly on their behalf. A lifelong animal lover, her passion for rescue became a true calling after moving to Homewood, Alabama in 2015 and witnessing firsthand the animal welfare crisis in the South. From that point on, rescue work became central to her life. She finds deep purpose in watching animals experience safety, stability, and love for the first time—moments that continue to motivate her work every day.

Outside of rescue, she values time with her children and grandchildren, prioritizing family and meaningful connection. She enjoys playing board games with her husband and spending time outdoors with their dogs, finding balance and joy in the simple, everyday moments.

Victor Olivo

Dog Trainer

Victor Olivo is a trainer with Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary, where he plays a key role in helping dogs build confidence, learn new skills, and adjust to life in a home. With a calm, patient approach, Victor works one-on-one with dogs who need extra support—whether that’s crate training, leash work, or learning how to relax in a new environment.

He’s passionate about helping dogs find balance and is especially inspired by watching their transformation—from anxious and unsure to confident and ready for adoption. His work not only helps dogs thrive, but also supports fosters and adopters by setting them up for success.

Victor is also the owner of OCK-9 Training, where he continues to make a difference for dogs outside of rescue. His dedication and experience make him an invaluable part of the Full Circle team.

When he’s not working with dogs, Victor enjoys off-roading in his Jeep (and fixing it afterward!), boating, working on cars, and spending time with his family.
